I'm currently taking digesic, but aren't getting enough relief from the pain I have. I need to find out if there are any strong pain killers that don't have codine in them. I have trouble with codine medicine, and really want to find out if there's any way to have decent relief from any other medication.

Ask your doctor about tramadol. It is a synthetic opioid that is useful for moderate to severe pain. It is available in single dose or extended release tablets. I have been using it for cronic arthritis pain for several years and it works quite well. It also has a very low addiction potential. I don't get a high from it but it certainly takes care of my pain.
