Omeprazole and hair loss in women

I have been on and off omerprazole for the past five years or so. I didn’t realize it until my hair got very thin! The past year even worse! Lots of hair loss in the shower when I wash my hair. What can I do. Apparently all antacids and heartburn medications cause hair loss. I am 63.

I have been off omelrazole over 5 years and my hair has not come back.
