Hi, I am currently having a crisis, I am 18 years old and I have the same symptoms of being pregnant along with the birth control that I am using. I have been on it since last year when I had a bf. Then i stopped taking it, but then I took it again after I had the scare that I was pregnant and took plan b because the condom broke. But then all the other times we did it he pulled out before he came. I just am not sure if it's the birth control doing all the symptoms, because my boobs ache, and that's normal, but they are a bit veiny. I have been looking online and I have been having many scares that I could be pregnant, but I'm pretty sure he hasn't cum inside me. But I think when I do find out for sure in the next couple of days that my period is suppose to come it will show. But should I still take a pregnancy test?

Hi, I'm very worried because I just started my first ever pill yesterday presumed to be first day of my period. And it is so much lighter than my normal period. And this morning I woke up without any blood and a diarrhea. Am i pregnant because i had sex a week ago, or is this just the pill's effects

I also have a question too, I'm 19 I've been with my boyfriend for almost 4 years. I've been on birth control for almost 2 and a half years. All of my peroids have been heavy and on time. My period pills started a day ago and i am having very light bleeding. Almost not noticeable. (Again i always have heavy bleeding) In other words I was a day late to my period and now I'm having light bleeding. But pain in my whole stomach and back. Could i be pregnant? I know i could just take a test but i don't want to spend money on it if it doesn't sound like it.

It is rare but it does happen since missing pills only gives you 91% coverage instead of the 99%...you still have a 9% chance of becoming pregnant if you miss pills. Also antibotics decrease effectiveness as does too much alcohol consumption...even frequently having diarrhea can decrease your pills effectiveness because your body doesnt have a chance to absorb the hormones fast enough. This even happens to adults not just young girls, so it is not BS as you so eloquently put it but in fact a very real possibility.

I'm currently using contraceptive pill - Cerezette. However, I've been bleeding every other day for 2 weeks. My breasts feel tender and my areolas have gotten a lot darker. Could I be pregnant?
