The most important thing after an abortion is to keep in mind that you shouldn’t put anything up your vagina for about two weeks, like Icebreaker already said. No tampons or nothing during masturbation, let alone sex. Still, this doesn’t mean you can’t masturbate, it just tells you how you can do it, during first two weeks after an abortion.
Either way, it’s better for you to masturbate than to risk having an intercourse while everything hasn’t healed completely. No, they do not. It's just that sometimes with all the stuff they have to do in the cervix and uterus, the contractions from orgasm might make you bleed a bit. Depo provera should have no effect on stimuli and if it does for you, please see a doctor about another option for you. I understand why you shouldn’t insert anything. But just wondering here… isn’t it a bad idea to masterbate? Your body is trying to clean itself out and by doing so you are “getting wet” and unable to properly clean yourself and you’re leaving that in your vagina and can help more bacteria? Or am I just thinking too much into ?

i hadn’t bleed for almost a week (besides day one). i actually thought i was just a lucky one till i masturbated. i was fine till about 8pm the next day. i passed so many clots in just a few hours so maybe it’s a good thing ! also i haven’t bleed a lot since then so i guess i know what’ll help now.
