I have Osgood Schlatter's in my left leg, I was diagnosed with it in early to mid August 2012. Now that its winter, I cannot wear the special slip on recommended by my doctor (McDavid brand) because I wear long pants. It seems that, miraculously, the pain has stopped as well! Is this normal? I take dance lessons, and that's usually when it hurts, but we have winter break from there. I also no longer have Physical Education at school for the same reason, until January. Do you think this is why? -I am a female-

Probably because you are taking a break, it hurts less. Still, wear the McDavid thing as much as you can around the house so your disease doesn't worsen.
