Hi, I keep having strong pain in my head, and I don’t know what to do about it. I always take a medicine, but it relieves the pain just temporarily. How do you deal with this problem?

Hi, for the last couple of years I’ve been having pain in my head. It doesn’t affect entire head, but only the scalp. It is coming periodically, usually in the winter. This pain feels like the air has filled my head and pushes it from inside to explode. I went to doctor, and she didn’t have a clue what was wrong with me. She sent me to ophthalmologist. He examined me, and said that I have an excellent vision. However, he suspected that my pain in the head might be caused by sensitive sinuses. He was absolutely right, several doctors confirmed this diagnosis later. I still have pain in my head, but at least now I know what is causing it and how to avoid it. I don’t go anywhere without my hat any more when it’s cold outside.
