I had my surgery on Easter Sunday, and three weeks later i am still in pain
the lesions are 90% healed but i am still in pain.the pain travels down the left leg
i cannot sit or stand for too long.i drink a lot of water, eat a lot of fruits and veges
but the stools still comes firm as hell and therefore i experience excruciating pain immediately after.
well warm water with some salt in there helps sooth that pain,i live in the Caribbean so i soak in the sea everyday.
but this is the worst pain Ive ever experience ever.
i think the surgery is worth it ,it just recovery is a b***h.
patience and prayer

OK I just had my surgery today at 12pm, and im home now. Its 8pm and I can notice the pain slightly. Im sooooooooooo surprised, I came to this forum to know what I was getting myself into and it left me traumatized. So going into the surgery I was extremely nervous. It was about a 1 hour procedure. I layed down face down and the next thing I know I wake up asking the nurse thats it???? Its done??????? lol. I loved the care they gave me. And after I left I went to the grocery store for some fiber foods with my mom. Let me also mention that I have a catheter currently still in my anus which is a little uncomfortable but I have noticed no pain. I walked up and down my stairs since getting home about 6 times now. theres slight paid when I set down but nuthing bad. I got the surger with the harmonic scalpel which I would highly recommend if you have to have this procedure done. I hope everybody has the same experience I have had so far.
