First off, I am 16 and I am a virgin. I have never masturbated. I've been having my period as normal since I was 11, I know very early. I'm not stupid about my body either, I know which "hole" my period comes out of. I have a yeast infection so I picked up some miconalzole at cvs, it's supposed to be like monistat. It's an off brand and it's not creamy like monistat, it's kind of waxy feeling and I believe it's supposed to melt or something. Anyways to my point, when I try to insert it, it hurts! I used a mirror and separated my labia or whatever to see my vaginal opening and all I see is pink flesh, is this the hymen? When I touch it's sore. It looks like it covers everything, I can't see much of any hole really. I tried to insert the medicine but it hurt too much! I'm not sure what to do now. I can't see my vaginal opening at all, and I know it's there because I get my period and it has to come from somewhere.

Maybe I am a dummy and I was trying to insert it into my urethra thinking that was my vagina hole, when I look further down closer to my back I guess, it's all pink... I know I sound like a complete id**t but please help! No rude comments okay.

I'm almost wondering if my hymen is broken. I went to a pool party last year and used a tampon, well my tampon came out and I had to go change it. The new one slipped out a little when I was in the pool so I tried to push it back in a little, when I went back to the bathroom and it hurt really bad! I think I bled, I wasn't sure if I did because I was wet from the pool and if I did bleed, it wasn't much. Did my hymen break?
