Painful Sex! Suffering from PCOD

I am 22 years old and I experience sharp pain near the vaginal opening everytime I have sex and the pain is so sharp that I don't even let my husband put his finger inside. It gets swelled and pains like hell even on touching.

I am suffering from Polycystic Ovarian disorder (PCOD) of which I am undergoing treatment. My husband works outside and we usually meet after long intervals and hence we don't make love frequently. This interval sometimes exceed 7-8 months and each time I have sex, I feel burning sensation at the opening. Previously, we experienced the problem of lubrication too (along with the sharp pain and burning sensation) but recently when we had sex, there was no problem of lubrication but pain persisted as such, and even worse than ever. It was accompanied by little bleeding this time and after that we didn't make love.

I have taken medical help and they have told me its due to PCOD and hormonal imbalance but I am seeking advice from other doctors too. Can anyone here help me?
