Well I read a few posts in regards to this feeling but im not sure if its the same thing. I randomly got this feeling in my penis head about three years ago. At the time i was having sex without a condom with my long term gf of two years. She was a virgin and obviously i never had sex with anyone else. However, the summer of 2005 (about year and a half of dating her), I got this constant feeling to urinate all the time. Thinking it was an std, i went to the doctors twice, where they did tests and i had nothing. But to be safe they put me on two antibiotics. It didn't seem to do anything. But a few months later, the burning/sting sensation kinda went away, but slightly present but nothing that bothered me. Maybe i thought i was all in my head at that point. Anyway, summer of 2006 came around and it started all over again, but not the constant urge to urinate, but just the discomfort in the head. Ever since, it would be worse some months, and hardly there in other months. I notice it feels worse when summer hits.
When my penis is erect, i dont feel anything, like nothing is wrong. However, when my abdomen is bloated, it gets alot worst. I also noticed when my stomach is full from eating, i dont feel anything. Visually i dont see anyting wrong with my penis, its just the feeling, and sometimes it feels like there is discomfort throughout the tubes that are connected. But i can definitely pin point it in the head of my penis. Any insight?

This one stumps me.
I know as a child, when I would get soap in the opening at the tip of the penis (meatus) it would sting. Any attempt to pee or urinate would sting like crazy. The only solution was the application of some white petroleum jelly or vasolene which soothed the irritation. There was no aftermath.
But this doesn't quite sound like the same thing.
I would think with two visits to the doctor, you'd have found something.
Other than trying more hygene, I'm not sure what to suggest.

This guess is out there.. but do you or anyone else think there could be a sligh abrasion within the meatus or further down the urethra? I dont know how that could happen... but what do you guys think??

That's an interesting thought.
I guess a careful inspection by a qualified doctor might turn something up along these lines.
As for what might cause it...(I'm really reaching here...) Soundings... rough foreplay... rough sex without sufficent lubricant... possible oral sex...
I just would think that with two thorough medical examinations that someone would have found some evidence, or clue to what was causing it. I don't think it's all in Zimo's head. He's seeing a seasonal variation.
Perhaps there's an allergy that flares during summer? Summer heat?
Perhaps drinking cranberry juice might either effect a cure, or agrivate this?

k.. for anyone who might share the same symptoms as me.. i just got a tip from another website. Get gold bond body powder extra strength. Put it all over the area and it helps like 90%. Definitely not the cure.. but it well help wit the mental misery.

Well i gathered it off this one website. The guy had the exact same problems. Nothing the doctors could suggest would help.. but ya.. a heat rash or prickly heat is exactly what i could define it as. And like i said.. you still know things are not a 100% .. but given what it was like before.. i'll take 90% better any day.
I hope this helps alot out of people out there. Tho i wish there was a permanent cure.

Ah yes, well the good people at Gold Bond wouldn't so much of their product if it actually cured with one application now, would they?
So, if you need continual applications, all season long... and have to buy a few more containers... better for them, right?
(I'm just speculating here. :P I have no real reason to say this.
Some people swear by this stuff. I think we've got a tin or shaker can of it someplace in our medicine closet. I'll have to go look for it tonight.

mid Dec 2022..I over applied the medicated body powder to my penis area (I thought it was regular body powder). Medicated powder does burn me, so I dont use it. However, I bought the medicated accidently. So i used this medicated powder and after a few days the burning of my entire penis became unbearable. Like my penis area was on fire. I did not know I had Medicated Powder. One morning I realized i was using Medicated Powder, i immediately stopped using it (beginning of January 2023) after a couple of days the intense burning of my penis shaft area was gone. however the tip of my penis was still discomfort / and red and burning sensation. I went to the my doctor and processed STD tests, al negative. I went to the Emergency room , they did test all negative. I went to a UROLOGITST they said negative. Also to mention it did not burn while i urinated during this scenario ( i drink lots of water) , around the 2nd week of January I was confused why it my tip still burning. Of note I use condoms during intercourse when i ejaculate no pain, however 15 min after the tip begins to burn for about 10 min than goes away . 4th week of january 2023 then I thought my bathroom shower soap is irritating my already irritated penis from being burned from the powder. So i stopped soaping my penis area and only use water. Now is the 2nd week of February and my penis does has daily low discomfort however the serious panful burring has not happened since i stopped soaping my penis during the shower. again when i have intercourse i use a condom and after i ejaculate's the burning returns for 10 to 20 min than goes away. I hope this is the recovery phase. Lastly, i believe i over used the medicated body powder and burned the tip of my penis and some when into my urethra.
