I searched this because I have been experiencing it for some years, and I wondered if I was alone.
I wanted to share some of the things that I have tried over the years. First of all using a sitz bath that you can buy at a usual Pharmacy store. I'm brewing a tea with fresh or dried herbs. Things like, chamomile, green tea, echinacea, red raspberry leaf, aloe, Olive leaf, etc. You boil the water , turn it off, and then put all the herbs in and then you let it steep until it's cool down. You want it to be a little bit warm.
The other thing that I do is use Pau d'arco and lysine they both deal with skin issues. You can even get the lysine in a cream form.
Another thing to look at is taking a B-Complex. My absolute favorite is called Mega b-stress. Because it is time released and it has a vitamin C component. The reason for that is because I believe that stress is the trigger. Just like in situations with people dealing with herpes.
For topical use for itching aloe vera gel mixed with tea tree oil is awesome.
And one more note to the hydrogen peroxide it is best to get food grade from the health food store and keep it in your refrigerator. It must be diluted heavily.
