Hi everyone! I have had menorrhagia for a while now and it can make life difficult. The pain that is caused by the cramps is only manageable with the help of ibuprofen, which also happens to be an anti-inflammatory, which is why my doctor suggested this to me. I am hoping for a more natural solution, if that exists, though. Are there any herbs that work well for menorrhagia?

I am not sure whether herbs that will stem post partum bleeding will also help menorrhagia, but if they do, then you should try motherwort, cayenne tincture and raspberry leaf tea is also known to be very good for your uterus and cervix. Could you try any of these supplements? Oh, and Angelica (dong quai) should lessen the bleeding, as well as Sheperd's Purse.
