Hi I am 36 and my last period started on the 8th March, my ex partner came round on the 23rd March and we had intercourse. Yesterday I had a very slight pain and today I have just gone to the toilet and there is lots of blood.. well enough!!
Does anyone know why my period may have come early.. it is not spotting it is more a period.. do you think it could be something really bad? I have never had irregular bleeding and now I am worried.. Thank you very much x

If an early period is all you're experiencing, I would say you're fine. But if you are concerned you may have an STD go get tested. Also, it does depend on how early you are talking, just a few days is within a normal cycle but if you mean a couple of weeks then you may want to call your gyno.
