period over a month late! could it be valerian?

I haven't had my period in over a month. I have been taking valerian pills to help sleep for the last few months. And then i was suppose to get my period but it never came. Could it be the valerian pills? I thought about it; and i have come to the conclusion that i can't possible be pregnant because i am a virgin.
