Phimos for 26 years, operation time?

Hi, first time poster but ive read up a LOT about Phismosis and i think my case is worse than any ive read about.

Im 26 and ive had this problem since i can remember, ive always known it was different but i have never had a problem with sex or anything so havent bothered doing anything about it.

My foreskin is so tight the hole is literally the same size as the hole i urinate from, i can pull on the foreskin with both index fingers and thumbs to create a tunnel about 3mm in diamater, enough for me to use a syringe to squirt water into my foreskin to wash. (This is the reason i want something doing)

Basically for 26 years i am worried about the build up of smegma i must have, Although i am very hygenic to an OCD point, but this problem is really bothering me as i have read horrible stories about long term phimosis, having circumcision and the smegma being so bad that the top layer of skin on the tip of the penis is shaved leaving a nasty scab and pain urinating for weeks.

I have gotten to the point that ive seriously considered snipping myself as im too embarrised going to the DRs as ive left it so late and im worried the look of my penis under the foreskin is uglier than it is now.

so, if i get a circumcision, will the smegma be difficult to remove taking into account im 26.

Also, whats the recovery period from the operation to having sex again?
