okay. i did have a close friend, who after taking several negative home pregnancy tests concluded she was not pregnant. well she found out she WAS pregnant on oct 22 and had her baby on nov 13. She was 8 months along and had no idea. If you have any symtoms and if you feel like something is wrong with your body take an at home test. if you are still not convinced GO GET A BLOOD TEST DONE BY A PROFESSIONAL, you can even do this at your local health department or free or cheap. it is really important to find out early if you are pregnant for the health of you and the baby. and then if the test comes back negative at least you can put your mind to ease. TRUST ME you do not want to be like my friend because her baby was premature and unhealthy, and he may end up with many mental development issues because he did not receive proper care throughout the pregnancy... and believe me if you dont think you can handle a baby then you really can't handle a baby with special needs. its your body. listen to it!

this is my question.
I had my last cycle on the 29th August, then me and my hubby had sex on the 9th,11 and 12 (we're trying to conceive), but then I had my period on the 27th September, and it was heavy, as usual, the second day too, and then suddenly - nothing. It stopped right away. This is unusual for me, as I always have around 5 days normal bleeding. I made some urine test today in the morning, but from the cheap ones, and it showed negative. Is it possible I ' m pregnant, or is it just some hormones adjustment?

Im 20 years old been with the same guy for 3 years we dont use protection i have had all signs of pregnancy even my stomach is starting to swell and i have found out some of the women in my family the HPT didnt so positive til month into pregnancy and some still had a normal period...my period in Nov. 20 was light and short but yesterday i was spotting and today it got heavy and hurt! i lost my virginity in october and then my boyfriend and i have been doing stuff since. but recently, on dec.18, we had sex again and yesterday i started getting light pink/brown stuff on the toiletpaper when i wiped and today it looks like my normal period only its only showing when i wipe (not on the pad) and ive got killer stomach cramps, at the bottom of my tummy and pelvis area.
also, smelling certain foods make me gag, im tired and i get pissed easy, im peeing alot, my breasts hurt (also around my armpit) and i basically feel like im getting a flu.
can someone tell me anything, because we really want a baby.

The fluctuations in your cycle after taking the ECP are from the high doses of estrogen which are unusual for your body (because your body is used to having certain amounts of different hormones cycling throughout your mentrual cycle). In short, when you took the ECP it disrupted your body's normal hormonal cycle and it has to have time to get regulated again. Heavy beeding is a sure sign it is not implantation bleeding. Implantation is light pink or brown and usually not noticed at all. Watch for your next period or two and any unusual symptoms and report to dr if you notice somethings not normal for you. I note that this post is years too late for jessicaaa however those of you reading this and facing the same dilemma can still benefit.

I am having the same issue except I didnt take ecp or anything. My peroid was on the 1st lasted 5 days like normal ovilation the 15 we had sex from the 10th-16th. My peroid was due on the 29th bt I had a werid heavy spotting it was very dark not alot bt would start then stop then start and stop etc and idk if I should count that as a period cuz it really wasnt like 1. Its the 1st now and still no period if u dont count that weridness of spotting so it makes me 3days late and we took a hpt it was a very faint neg. And about 6 days after ovulation I had a lite pink discharge 4 a few days bt that was it I really dont kno if I am or not pregnant. Im not stressd my af is always on time and 4-5 days long..any advice?
