I hope you can tell me what I should do. I am 49 years old and believe I am going through pre menapause. I have had hot sweats and well as cold chills on and off. In addition for the past 4 weeks I have been expericing bleeding spotty at times and heavy at others. Sometimes it appears light pink, other times typical color with clots and a lot of times dark brown. Any ideas on what is happening? Help

I am having the same symptoms...I am 42. I had a ultrasound on my uterus and found that I had a fybroid that was on the lining of my uterus. My GYN prescribed a different birth control pill and after a couple months the bleeding between periods and the clots are all gone. Still having hot flashes, but at least the bleeding has stopped.

im 47 as of november and last week my period was late by 3 days and i got it for one day and then today tuesday 5days later i have it but it seems like it was on thursday , i have had my period for one month last year and the night sweats and hot flashes ect for about 10 yrs now but after always having my period was wondering if menapouse is what could be causeing my ones a week once a day peroid?
