Today is day 9 after my gum graft surgery. I have done my best to be a model patient and have not had too much pain, and it's been going well. Last night I felt confident enough to go to sleep without my stent in. This morning I woke up to my tongue aggressively messing with my stitches at the donor site. I have no idea if I messed with the gum graft itself, but I looked at the donor site and one of the scabs came loose and I taste blood a little. I don't see any blood. If I did mess with the graft, it's a huge possibility I ruined it, which sucks.
