I have been prescribed Adderall and I don't want long-term effects. I have been taking a few times a week for about a year (about 10mg a day). Is is it possible to keep taking it a few times a week or maybe a month and not suffer the long-term problems i've read about on here?

Adderall is basically like speed. Anything of that nature will certainly cause long-term effects no matter what. Sorry :-/

I disagree with the advice that you will have long term effects. You appear not to have taken adderall for a long time, or to have taken very high doses. If you disconintue you will be fully restored in a matter of months. If you're a user who's abused the drug and done so over a long period, even there a total recovery is possible, but it takes longer, as much as a year or a little more. But you're not in that category.
