Hello, I'm Jamie. I am a 20 year old female and I am taking no medications. I have mild asthma, normally it only acts up in the summer when it is very hot. But lately I have been getting horrible headaches that literally throb. They cause me to gasp for breath and also make me feel light headed and/or dizzy. Using my inhaler only seems to exacerbate things. Standing and walking or even talking also makes things worse. Late July, I had to leave work and go to the emergency room. They did a cat scan, blood work, and a chest scan, all of which came up completely normal. My heart rate had been much higher than usual and my oxygen levels were where they should be. Only after filling my iv with some sort of extra strength headache medicine did I feel better. I was discharged and that was that. My brother-in-law though it might be an anxiety or panic attack as he suffered from those for a long while, but I'm not sure. Generally I don't get stressed or worried or even angry. I don't do drugs, drink, or smoke. I just live life. So why am I feeling like this? I realize this was extremely long, but the more information the better. Any help or insight is much appreciated.
