It has only happened twice (so far), but I have woken up twice this week with my heart racing and feeling like I couldn't breathe. I have asthma and anxiety, but I am not sure if that is what is causing it. Both times I have woken up from a deep sleep and feel this way. One of the times was paired with the sensation that I was about to throw up. Even if I don't have the heart palpitations or the shortness of breath, I am still waking up in the middle of the night every single night. Some nights I wake up more often than others. Just wondering if anyone knows what might be going on/could give advice to help sleep better maybe. Thank you in advance! Oh, also I'm only 17 and I exercise everyday by lifting weights.
