I have only had one period in my entire life. I was 13, and i am now 19 going on 20. Can I get pregnant? I had sex and a month after I started having what I thought was morning sickness. Still to this day I have no clue what was making throw up, but it got me wondering if I can even get pregnant?? Any advice will be much appreciated.

To become pregnant you need an egg - from ovulation - you probably have PCOS = Poly Cystic Ovary Syndrome - it is either 1 or more cysts on an ovary that causes increase in hormones and makes your body think it is is pregnant and thus doesn't release and egg! So the first thing is to find out if you indeed have PCOS which is the reason behind your Amenorrhea! You will need a Transvaginal Ultrasound to see if you have cysts! Then you doctor needs to run a hormone blood test to see what you are either creating too much of or not enough! And I think another thing is for you to be put on either Clomide or Metformine - or even the pill - which will bring on a period and thus increase your chances of becoming pregnant! There ARE reasons and cures for this, you just need to get to the bottom ot it! And I think the reason why you are sick is because either you ARE indeed pregnant - which I don't think so! OR you have a hormonal imbalance - HOW is your hair by the way?
