My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for a over a year now. My period is not actually due til today (5/19) but on Monday (5/17) I woke up with a normal heavy period. I just started taking prenatal vitamins to help get my body ready if i do get pregnant so that morning I ended up getting very sick feeling and almost threw up. I just attributed this to the vitamins. Yesterday, I realized my period was almost gone already. I had a period one day and then spotting yesterday and today. I have also had headaches and extreme dizziness on and off for about a week. Last night I got extremely nauseous again. I took a test this morning and it was negative but I'm wondering if I could still be pregnant since my period only last like normal for about a day. I am hopeful but after all the negatives I don't want to get my hopes up.

1. You are already on prenatal vitamins - which is great - keep on them
2. Lets - for now - take May 17th as your period?
3. Write down ALL the dates of sex?
4. See if you notice in the week of the 31st if you have a white sticky discharge, a slight cramp from either ovary, - this will be you ovulating
5. For that ENTIRE week from the 26th to June 4th have as much sexual activity as possible
6. I also say - IF you don't know when you ovulate - have sex as much as possible - every day! Many docors - for years - thought that sperm count went down with more sexual activity - but now it is proven that the sperm are just as viable and can be good for their viability!
7. After each time - and also through it - put about 2 pillow under your buttocks and stay like that as long as possible - I stayed like that ALL night with both of my boys!
8. Take note of which side hurts more - with ovulation - that can show the more dominant ovary - which is best to really try with! I became pregnant from my left ovary for both bioys - and ALWAYS suffered more with that side ALL my life!
9. Lets Keep track for 2 cycles and follow the same things, then IF there is not success, I want you to ask for a transvaginal ultrasound to see if you have ovarian cysts! I don't think so because your periods are regular!
So fingers and toes crossed for you! BIG hugs honey! And just relax OK and don't make it a job!
