I had my gallbladder removed in August 2008 and I haven't had any problems since. But, now, the last two nights I've woken up in the middle of the night with the same pains in my chest and nausea. Is there something else going on?

You should have your cholesterol levels checked. Some people have had elevated levels after having the surgery or it could be indigestion. Talk with your DR when a new symptom starts!

i had my gall bladder removed 6 months ago, i had no heartburn etc before hand,it was found i had many stones through a scan when i was having my kidneys checked, since the operation my life has changed dramitcly,i am now always tired, cant seem to loose weight, suffer with pains daily in my chest, back, neck and head, all i keep getting out of doctors is that it takes time to get better or that it is all down to emotions.at present i am waiting to have a camers test to see if acid is causing immflammation,to be honest i feel like i am dieing slowly,i feel very let down by the hospital that done the operation also by my gp the after care after is non existent, they dont tell you what gall bladder removal can mean or how it can affect you after and change your life
