I was a bike messenger last summer and still an avid rider (I bike to work everyday). I have a lump on crease of my butt. When I'm on my period it get larger. It's pretty solid and also embarrassing b/c you can see it in my bathing suit. What is it? How do I get rid of it? Do I have to go to a doctor or can I treat it?

I plan on going to see the doctor sometime soon. I have a similar solid lump on the crease of my butt but it hurts when it's pressed or touched. I also cycle to work each day (6 miles total). Luckily i don't have to worry about a bathing suit.
