for some reason a few days ago my scrotum started to actually "shed" skin. i didnt pay to much attention to it thinking it would go away. a few days later a rash on the right side of my scrotum developed. im 17 years old and im still a virgin. it really burns when i wash now for some reason. im thinking of heading to a free clinic instead of my regular doctor (who is female and can't treat me i think unless i have a parent along... long story) im thiking its just the heat and maybe i should wait a few days please help!

Hey,

Like me, you're  allergic to a chemical in most laundry detergents called Sodium Lauryl Sulfate. You know how some people get rashes if they use fabric softener. Basically, SLS is a cheap, harsh chemical found in most mass market soaps. It's used for making bubbles. It's supposed to be safe, but for some people it's a disaster. I've seen so many blog posts by people who are terrified they have an STD when it's just an allergic reaction to the detergent residue in their underwear.

I created a blog about it here because it's hard to find products that don't contain SLS. However, since doing some research, ***this post is edited by moderator *** *** web addresses not allowed***
Hope this helps.
