A couple weeks ago i had started my period at around a normal time. The "first day" it was minimal and just a little spotting. The second day I woke up with pretty bad cramps but when I went to school the cramps got horrible and unbearable within an hour. I usually never get cramps or very little and don't experience many period symptoms. It was very unusual for me to be having this bad of cramps. They ended up dying down a couple hours later and I took an Advil. Later on that day when I got home I went to change my tampon and noticed a very weird piece of tissue on my tampon. It's normal for me to get blood clots on my period but I've never discharged tissue. It was about the size of 2 quarters and looked like a deflated balloon with a little string on it. It was whitish but bloody. I tried looking up pictures online but the only ones that looked like what I had were pictures of early miscarriages. I continued my period the next couple days but it was just very abnormal and weird. I have never gotten cramps that bad or discharged a large piece of tissue prior to that or since. I was wondering what this could have been
