If you are on the pill it is unlikely you are pregnant! #1 it sounds as if you are taking the pill correctly! #2 PREGNANCY does not happen in 1 week, it takes up to 13 days for implantation to occur, and you would NOT have pregnancy symptoms unitl you were about 5 weeks pregnant.

THE PILL causes breast tenderness, nausea, and few other symptoms that mimic pregancy..but are not... =)

I work for planned parenthood, and advise all women to LOOK at the PILL PACKET INFO..

It clearly states

"If you are a DAY 1 STARTER, as in you start when you are ON YOUR period, you are protected IMMEDIATELY!!!"

IF YOU START any other time, you need 7 full days of use and you protected...

It clearly says this on the pill pack =)

Some people really need to check their information before giving people the wrong advice.

You can in fact be pregnant with in a week, implantation can occur anytime between 6 to 12 days past ovulation. Ovulation can occur at anytime of the cycle. You can also experience pregnancy symptoms as soon as implantation occurs. So it is possible, however unlikely, to be pregnant and experiencing pregnancy symptoms 2 weeks after a period.

However, it is very unlikely and even more so since you are on birth control. Pregnancy symptoms are very similar to normal up and coming period symptoms. It is easy to notice things that you usually wouldn't because you are stressed about it. You have also started a new pill, maybe what you are experiencing is a side effect of this.

Until you have missed a period, then I personally don't think you have anything to worry about.
