Okay, this is sort of embarrassing which is why I haven't went to the doctor or asked anyone personally what to do about it. But about a week ago I was shaving "down there" and I was in a hurry and I believe I got few small cuts on the lips or whatever you call it.. Well it really stings, and itches/hurts and it's also very red but I guess the redness could be from rubbing it to ease the itching. Anyways, I've tried anti bacterial cream and I've tried to clean it very clean.. I don't know what to do though as it seems to be getting more itchy and irritated..

Hi Mij,

If it's been about a week it should be improving, especially if you are using an antibacterial cream.

You can get infections from a razor, a staph infection.  Folliculitis is one such infection but it usually clears up on its own.

It is past time to see a doctor.  You may need a prescription strength antibiotic.  The longer you wait the harder it may be to treat.

Don't be embarrassed.  Your doctor has seen/heard it all.

Good luck.

You don't need to see a gynecologist. Your regular doctor, or a "walk-in clinic", is fine.

Is there a way to do it without my parent finding out?

Well actually I think something else is wrong now. The little cuts don't seems to be the problem anymore.. It just itches and stings and is irritated and puffy and red..

As I said, the longer you wait...

You need to see your doctor.
