I have a history of sinus infections- but this is the worst one that I have had in several years. I am on two antibiotics- and a decongestant. I definitely am better after one plus week- but now I am having shooting pains on only one side of my head- basically above the ear. They make me flinch- I have been taking ibuprophen and that helps but now my Dr. gave me a prescription anti-infammatory to take one pill twice a day. This is the 2nd day- but I am still having the pains. I remembered today that a rear molar is chipped- but has been for probably 6-8 weeks. My mouth is not sore or anything- but could this be causing the pains?
I also have a disease called Wegeners Granulomatosis- but it is not active and I have never had treatment for it. Any suggestions as to what is causing this pain? The pain has been for the past 3-4 days.
