Hi! My husband and I decided that we are done having kids, though I feel a bit sad about this, but he is adamant. I am looking into the birth control pill now and have asked the doctor about it. He suggested microgynon 30 ed. I am not opposed, but I want some objective opinions about the side effects of microgynon. What can you tell me about this?

OK, so your husband says he doesn't want any more kids, and you sound like you are not quite sure yet. Of course, if he doesn't want any more kids that is a decision that should be honored, but hang on a minute - why should you be the one to take responsibility for birth control? I can't tell you what side effects you would have, as this is highly individual. It's not the best thing for your body though. If your husband is so sure he doesn't want any more kids, perhaps he should get a vasectomy?
