Hey. I'm a 27 year old guy with a long-term girlfriend, and I suffer from exhema all over my body. I have dealt with it through my entire life, and have had many creams/treatments/ointments/you get the point to deal with the problem. Not a problem, until recently..

Just as a bit of history, something like this has never been a problem. We have sex *very* often, twice a day or more, and the exhema has never been an issue up until now. With the most recent flare up of exhema, we got a few things to combat it, Lubriderm Dry Skin lotion (Which burns a bit after being rubbed in), oatmeal bath (which has worked before) and drinkable flax seed oil (Which apparently does help).

It's possible when rubbing in the lubriderm oil, some may have come into contact with the skin on my penis, which has been sore to the point of severe pain for a week and 1/2 now. After some frustration and checking, thorough checking, the underside looks like the skin has been worn away, either scratched, rubbed, or otherwise torn away. This makes it very painful to stimulate and as such, severe burning pain makes for less erections than usual.

Now, assuming it IS the lubriderm and we haven't just burned away the skin of my penis from having rough sex (which is also possible), how would you recover from this? Aside from waiting for the skin to grow back on its own, which will happen no matter what. Gentle soapings and touches on the unaffected area? Is there a genital cream one can buy to soothe that WON'T irritate skin with exhema? Do i brave the wrath of an angry girlfriend by telling her we can't have sex for a week while I heal?

Just curious of some ideas :-)

3 days and an irritated, frustrated couple later, still having the same problem, and no sex. :-(

It responds to touches as usual, just anything more than a gentle touch causes throbbing pain. An erection can be gotten, just... not a sustained one, by the time blood gets there and I get hard, it is beginning to hurt so much that I notice and being in pain, cannot maintain it. By either myself or my girlfriend being very caring, we can get me excited, but after maybe 30 seconds or so it causes so much pain nothing will ever come of it.

Please, help me out if you have any idea with creams, techniques for repair, or anything. It's made life progressively miserable for the last week and a bit, when pretty much everything else in life is perfect right now.
