I am 55. Was a super high mileage bicycle rider between ages of 18-37. Married for 33 yrs this march spouse is only one with whom I've ever been sexually active. Have history of kidney stones & urinary infections. Regular PSA and "physical" exam of prostate. Early 2008 had an elevated PSA treated by urologist and test within last 6 weeks PSA <1 did not have a physical exam of testicles or Prostate as new doctor [a Nurse Practitioner] is one of my parishioners who is female.
Recently discovered small soft lump/mass in sack near, but doesn't feel attached to, left testicle.
Should I be alarmed? Allow my nurse practitioner to check? By pass her and call my WebMD team for referral to urologist?
