Something like a pink ball is blocking my vagina!

I had sex with my boyfriend exactly a week ago. I'm currently on birth control pills (ortho-tricylcen lo-28) and it was the first time we had sex without a condom since the pills had become effective. We had sex numerous times and now that I think back on it, I didn't get to clean myself out as much as I should have. I began spotting but I thought it was normal because it was a symptom of the pills. I was a little worried though because my period came a bit early, but that's aside from the point. My period is ligther and longer than usual and there's this sort of smell to it. Is this normal? Well, after two days, I began feeling this pain whenever I went pee. I also noticed that there was this pink ball blocking my vagina. I scheduled an appointment at planned parenthood but the morning of my appointment, the pain went away and me being extremely foolish, I skipped my appointment. I'm figuring the pain were symptoms of a UTI or a yeast infection.
Since the pain was gone, I decided to examine myself and hoped that since the pain was gone, the thing blocking my vagina opening was too. To my dismay, it was still there. It isn't anything like a pimple or anything. It's as if it is hanging and sort of the same texture as the inside of me. Similar to cartilege, but definitely softer. I can't put anything bigger than a finger inside and when I put my finger inside, it's as if I have to move the "pink ball" up. Inside, it feels like it is attached to something. It doesn't hurt at all anymore, it's just a little weird and I'm worried that it is something serious and I will have difficulty having sex in the future.

I have googled this and can't find anyone with a similar situation as me and a lot of people are saying it's my clitoris and it's obviously not... People are saying its my hymen, but I've had sex before and my cherry popped so I don't know if this would be the reason for this!
Also, I am 100% sure that this is not an STD. I got tested negative for everything a few days before I had sex. If anyone can tell me what this is, it would be greatly appreciated. Of course I rescheduled my planned parenthood appointment to get tested for a UTI/yeast infection but I just want to know if this pink ball is something that I should mention. Is this normal? Will this go away on its own? Will I need surgery? Can antibiotics fix this? Is this a symptom of something else?
