I was reading a lot of information about Multiple Sclerosis on the web. There are some really grate articles around. One article that I liked in particular talked about spasticity and stiffness in Multiple Sclerosis patients. Can anyone with Multiple Sclerosis tell me what this actually feels like? I am just trying to gain a better understanding. Thanks.

Spasticity is basically when your muscles make involuntary movements, though in Multiple Sclerosis it is actually caused because joints are unable to comply with the brains orders. It looks like a tic, when arms or (usually) legs just do their own thing. It's not painful, just very annoying. Stiffness pretty much speaks for itself, I think. Lots of people with Multiple Sclerosis suffer from it, and benefit from physiotherapy.
