I've had /have the same symptoms, stinging even in my mouth. I have undergone every test imaginable and they can't come up with a diagnosis. The Dr put me on Gaberpenten and it helps tremendously. This also seems to cause my BP to excalate(don't no if this happens to anyone else). Good Luck.

hope is still relevant for the two posts above. i will suggest you see homeopath to check parasites infection they do cause the above. to be proactive go on a parasite cleanse change your diet to candida diet. you will def see results.

I have FM.....but last night started feeling tiny little stinging pricks across my entire body and I mean my entire body ,it don't leave nothing untouched! It's in a small area each time but persistent and travels to various parts of my body! It's like my skin is very sensitive! It's driving me nuts to say the lease! Have a Dr. Appt. Coming up ,but once they dignose you with FM they will say it's that! Had FM for 10 years now and never had this before! Sometimes it feels like something g crawling under my skin! For you that have F.M. and can't find relief ,have your Dr. write you up a antidepressant, that's right you heard it right....it's used for cronic pain too! Works on my FM but they will have to play with your doses after your body gets ammune to them! I started at 20 mg Amitriptyline ,now having to up the dose after six months! Med works on the pain but not this stinging prickly pain I'm getting now! Ugggg two days of no sleep sense this started and no sleep makes my FM flare up really bad! I'm praying for everyone to get answers on what ales them! God Bless

I was just told certain medications will cause these symptoms. I'm on Topamax and was told this medicine will cause the systems of bee stings or a crawling sensation. Check the side effects of your medicines if your on any.

Hi, for the last three years as soon as the weather becomes colder I have a stinging / smarting/ hot needles pain all over my body and there are no physical signs such as a rash. It stops when the Summer comes but I can't find out what is causing it. They have tested bloods - I was going to ask for a referral to a neurologist.

I have reason to believe that this is probably a hormonal imbalance issue. I didn't have a nerve problem until I started menopause. I also have anxiety and having menopause makes anxiety sky rocket. I also have a thyroid problem too. So yeah its a mental/hormone imbalance issue I believe but I cant back that up without tests. Maybe someone look into this?
