I was diagnosed with a Stress Fracture approximately three weeks ago, and I am finding it a lot easier to walk now. 

I am suffering with quite bad swelling on both of my ankles and am taking Naproxen for this.  I sit with my feet elevated at work but when I get home both ankles are really swollen and painful.

I can probably understand why my right foot is swelling buy why is my left foot doing the same ? Is there some underlying condition ?   I am just coming up to my 59th birthday and had the menopause about 9 years ago.

Any suggestions ?
