SUBOXONE WITH ZOLOFT

The doctors that are supposed to "first do no harm" are long gone. You have hit a sensitive button. There is a pandemic around the world. Millions of people addicted to opiates. And while I get that the doctor did NOT FORCE them down anyone's throat, they act as if the drug addict coming to them for help, has commuted a crime against nature and that particular person is a disgusting figure to be ostracized from society. When in fact, you are not alone. Be prepared for most of these "doctors" (and I use the term extremely lightly) to treat you like s**m.
I believe that now that the medical society has seen what became of the practice of prescribing pain pills, they wish to wash their hands of it entirely. Instead they could treat us with compassion and even tho they don't have much faith that they will EVER find a cure for addiction, they could offer us SOMETHING. again I am not blaming them for the problem, I am calling them out in their attitude towards those of us that suffer from it.

I just stopped 4 mg suboxone and 40 mg Prozak dailey about 20 days ago. I am a mess. A physical pyschological mind f**k of porportions never known to me. My mind and body feel like a plastic bag stuffed with insulation that suts your skin. This all but happened after 6 years on both. A "happy accident" if you will. I got sick, slept, then realized I had gone a few days without either drug. I also felt clearer and happier but shittier and shittier physically. I am at the bottom of this thing now. I wont ever go back to either drug EVER. The detox of both drugs together , I am assuming as I really don;t know which drug is causing the most serious symptoms (which are on par with poisioning or bad speedy X), is hell. I do not suggest ever even bothering with either ever. I hope I make it.

That you so much for your advice. I have started Zoloft a month ago and I have had my first panic attack in a month since being on zoloft. I was doing great with no attacks on the med while before I was having several weekly. The only thing I have experienced since starting Zoloft is.....I had the most vivid dream of my life and I am 42yrs old. I woke up in a huge panic as if I could not distinguish being reality and the dream and really dizzy. I was scared being I had never ever felt something so intense in my life and tonight I started feeling "disassociated" as if I am in a altered state, kinda confused at times and just feel detached from reality. I currently take blood pressure med, a statin, zoloft, Buspar, zoloft, and 8mg suboxone daily. Can you tell me if these altered mental state of mind will pass as I get more use to the zoloft?

You are on way too high of a dose of Zoloft if the Bup/Sert combo made you feel dizzy... That will not go away until you lower your dose of Sertraline, which I hope you have done by now!

No. Combining two medications that react with the seratonin in your brain and nervous system can cause Seratonin Syndrome and kill you in your sleep. Suboxone and Serra line both have major reactions with alcohol.

I'm on 8 mg of soboxin so will I be ok taking. 50 mg of Zoloft?

I’m proscribed 3 strips of saboxen a day 8mg /2mg naloxen . I’ve been having panic attacks ever sense I was on meth and I stopped doing meth the panic attacks scared me enough to get clean . I don’t even take all 3 of my subs a day I take a tiny square peace but I’ve noticed after I get anxiety and I’m on Prozac and I asked my dr to put me back on Zoloft .but I also get adavan for when my panic attacks are bad enough . I am proscribed 20mg Prozac and I honest have been on it for 4 days and I’m a fucken mess ! More panic attacks I don’t feel right and I o my take half of the Prozac I have yet to take a full 20mg I Hurd Prozac and Zoloft are BAD to take with saboxen so now I’m freeking the f**k out !!! I’m to young to die ! I’m just done and over these panic attacks !!! Why do drs give us stuff that isn’t okay to take ??? With saboxen ?? I hope I’ll be okay I flushed all my Prozac in hopes she will proscribe me Zoloft tomorrow??

Not to be rude I agree with him. I just stopped Zoloft after 4 days of withdrawal symptoms to every side effect listed under Zoloft. I wanted to die. Intense anxiety, paranoia, burning stomach the 3rd day.
My doc had me hand in for a few days. Today he's starting me on Effexor. I'm a basket case right now. This coming from a really cool laid dude

I have been on Suboxone for awhile. If you want an antidepressant that will not cause weight loss try Zoloft. I just stopped taking zoloft because around month 4, I began gaining weight. 2 months and 20 lbs later I'm on Wellbutrin and headed to the gym.

Hi my husband takes suboxone and has started zoloft now for his depression. It has been 8 weeks now and I have noticed a bad change in his behavior. He starts to do strange sign language type hand movements during his sleep and says numbers as well. It scares me and makes me think he is possessed. He has become withdrawn and agitated. I told him to stop taking the zoloft so we are trying to taper down because he gets withdrawal symptoms if he doesn't take the zoloft.

She prescribed me suboxone and they work with your hours and she just prescribed me Zoloft today. Try there they’re number is 828-262-3886 and get the help you need. Ask for Amy Nix and that you need something for addiction treatment. Best of luck to you.

I took suboxone and zoloft together and had a TERRIBLE reaction. Muscles and joints hurt and I have a terrible time walking even with this combination. I've also read it's a big no no to take the 2 meds together. So FOR THE PERSON SOMEWHERE ABOVE IN THE COMMENT SECTION THAT SAID ITS TOTALLY SAFE, YOU'RE WRONG!
Don't listen to this person. I have experience with the 2 together.
