That was the result of my chest x-ray. Please expalin this to me.

Hello 1182... I saw your doctor's notes on your chest x-ray and was wondering, did they treat you for pneumonia?  RUL means "right upper lobe" where the location of opacity was noted.  This area looks to the doctor like it could be fluid-filled. ALV is alveolar suggesting the lung alveoli could be filled with fluid.  This is the best explanation I could come up with.  I am not a respiratory therapist, but from the notes, this is what it suggests.  How are you doing now? What type of lung condition did the doctor treat you for?  What was the treatment?
