In the past 8 months, I have completed 6 chemotherapy treatments followed by 22 radiation treatments. It has been almost 2 months since my last radiation treatment. I am gradually regaining my sense of taste, but sugar and sweet foods taste sour. Even fruit and foods containing small amounts of sugar don't taste right.

My mum who is in her late 60's has suddenly stopped liking any sweet foods, even fruit. Why could this be? Could it be related to illness of some type?
