Recently, I had two small red marks on my left breast, they looked like bites. A few days later, I had a split in the nipple with a piece of skin hanging from it kind of like a 'hangnail' on your finger, but on the nipple. I saw the Dr and they tried to schedule me for a gallactogram, which could not be scheduled for 3 weeks. Since then, the split has healed, the skin is healed also. However, in the past few days, the left breast has enlarged in size about 1/2 to one cup size. It is not hot or red, just bigger and itches in the nipple somewhat. Also, a few little briuses where I have had a former biopsy 18 years ago. I am 57, and had a hysterectomy at 27, never had children.
Should I be concerned?

All the symptoms you have mentioned are pretty concerning to me. But as you have mentioned that you have already visited the doctor and that he had scheduled you for some additional tests I believe that you are soon have all the information you need. And hopefully this is nothing serious and everything is going to be just fine.

You had hysterectomy at the age of 27! That must have been so hard for you. My godmother had one and I remember that period of her life was very dark but she managed to recover very fast and continue with her life. She is your age now but she had adopted a child. You were never considering that option or you just never wanted children?

I can't stand when I see a child is crying, that makes me angry so I am wondering is that because I don't want to have them ever or this is just some phase, but I am 33 years old so I am wondering when it is going to pass. I would appreciate your answer.
