When I had symptoms similar to yours, I was diagnosed bartholin’s abscess. It’s inflammation of glands that are located at the entrance of vagina. I also had painful and swollen vagina. Bartholin’s abscess requires antibiotic treatment. It’s often caused by Escherichia or streps.
