Last week at school my little boy who is seven was kicked in the testicals on accident. Did not swell up. Today 4 days later he was telling me that his private parts hurt. I looked down there and he left testical was swollen up. I put an ice pack on it and the swelling went down. I would like to know if maybe the swelling was caused from the hit he took and something else could be wrong.

I don’t think anything’s wrong, just a reaction to the trauma. If his testicles are not bruised and the swelling went down, I think he is ok.
I mean there could be some complications from the blow. For example, if the blood vessels were ruptured and the bleeding occurred, he could develop an infection but it would be easy to tell because he would certainly have some additional symptoms like extreme pain, bruises, swelling that doesn’t go down.
I mean the pain and the swelling are inevitable in the testicular trauma and it needs to pass a few days until things settle down. If the pain persists, or if he develops any additional symptoms, you should take him to a doctor.
