Good lord. I guess we are all victims. My story is similar. I was nearing ejaculation when I started to feel the burning sensation on the tip of my penis. I then went to pee, and screamed like hell. I tried the water bottle technique, and it seems to help. Has anyone experienced long(er) term effects from this? like a week or so? I'd like to know.

Whoever invented AZO desves a Nobel Peace Prize. I had the same experience as everyone else, except my girlfriend was using a contraceptive gel with a diaphragm. The pain while urinating immediately after sex was a 10. I took the AZO and had to pee an hour later. I was really scared that it hadn't taken effect yet. I went into the bathroom, put the towel in my mouth, bit down, and went. To my surprise, a nearly painless piss: a 2/3 with a bit of burning at the end. Also, your pee turns an awesome orange.

Fellas, I have a cure for you. I read this somewhere else last night, which is when it happened to me. I too used a spermicide condom for the first time and experienced the pain you all have experienced. All you have to do is go into the shower or whatever, take your fingers and spread your penis hole open(sounds bad i know) and just continue to pour water into it. It will hurt at first, but keep doing it until the burning from the water stops and when the pain from touching your shaft stops too. I did this last night and within the hour I was peeing pain free. So for all you who experienced 24 hours of that I am sorry to hear that. Hope that helps.

Yeah there's definitely something wrong with that Trojan ultra thin spermicidal condom....i just used it the other night and it feels like my penis is on fire every time i go to the bathroom....someone should send Trojan a link for this string of occurrences because it's too common to be a coincidence... i feel like i'm becoming more and more afraid to use the bathroom now, its been about 24 hours now and i've just tried some of the solutions you guys mentioned so hopefully the pain will subside eventually....but that condom definitely needs to be pulled from the shelves

I'm experiencing the exact same pain as you guys have listed. what's weird is that I felt the burn while the condom was on (Trojan, ultra thin with spermicide), but was fine after and even pissed once. But now, a few hours later, there is an excruciating pain when I try and urinate. Will try the water treatments you guys listed above.

I had a problem with these too only I'm female. My partner used them and they never bothered him. Only recently did we switch condoms to Trojan his/her pleasure and those burned for us both. Trojan is terrible. Bottom line.

This happens to me every time I use a Trojan with spermicidal lubricant. I've always used Trojan ENZ (the light blue packets) and they were fine for years. I don't know if they changed their 'formula' but they've started stinging the tip of my urethra, off and on, over the past few years. This week, I used the Trojan Ecstasy and will have to throw the whole thing out. I had a burning pain a full inch down my urethra, and when I urinated, it felt like someone jamming a hot knife into me. This lasted for over a day. I'll have to find some thinner latex Durex or something, because I've no plans to go through that kind of pain again.

What a freakin NIGHTMARE!!! About three hours ago me and my wife tried spermicidal gel for the first time. About 30 seconds after we started the end of my penis started to realy burn. I tried to take a piss to clean it out and the pain just crippled me...it was insane. Its was a 9 to 10 for sure. I went in the shower to see if I could flush it out or something but havnt been able to piss since. The first time I used this (twice in one night. She was on top, lasted a long time) I experienced the burning and it was BAD. It took like three days of PAIN to go away. This was only my second time having sex though, so I thought it was a natural reaction.
I used 4 more of the condoms with no problem.
The most recent time I used my last 2, I was fine the first one (did it from behind) but our second round (longer, her on top), I felt like my tip was dipping into LAVA. Peeing almost made me cry.
After reading this, it was definitely the condoms. Stay away.

I feel so bad for you guys! My husband and I used VCF last night. It was probably the 4th time in the past couple weeks. Halfway through sex he said his penis was burning. I wake up this morning and he laying there and he said it burns when he pees. He sat in a tub of water for a while and its still hurting him. But the second time is when he said the tip of his penis was burning. The condom box does say that some people may be allergic or sensitive to the spermicide or lubricant. My poor boyfriend has been in the bathroom for almost an hour almost screaming in pain.I can't believe that a product that can cause such pain would be allowed to be sold.
I asked him if he wanted me to take him to the emergency room but he said no. Then we decided to look online for help and just googled "burning urethra after using condom" and found this site. He is now trying to drink a lot of water and just tried going in the shower and pouring water into his urethra. Only slightly less pain now he says, about 2 hours later.

We only started using condoms because I was having chronic daily tension/migraine headaches and my neurologist recommended I stop taking the pill, which in combination with other treatments for the headaches, I have been almost headache free which is great. But now the strains on our sex life because I am not on the pill anymore and don't want to get pregnant.
I hope something is done about products like these being available for sale. I think we will write a letter to church & dwight and the fda or something.
