My boyfriend had his left testical removed several years ago and had to go through some chemotherapy too. My question is, what is the possibility of infertility because of that? I dont really care but i feel that these thoughts are eating him and he still won't talk about it at all. Has anyone had a similar experience?

Yes, a co-worker has had this happen to them.
He lost a testicle due to cancer or cancerous growths, and has had a silicone replacement inserted. (He claims, the weight and feel of the insert is almost the same as the original.)

However, it is WELL documented that men who loose one testicle for whatever reason, can and do father children without much problem.

It only takes ONE sperm to start a child, and one testicle is more than enough.
In a similar fashion, one functioning testicle is enough to supply enough testosterone to allow a man to function as well.

So, reassure him that it's not the end of the world, and that life can and does go on.
There are support groups for me who have lost one or both testicles, and the doctor who is treating your boyfriend can refer him to them, if he likes.

You are thoughtful to investigate this topic on his behalf. But your bf is responsible for his own feelings and state of mind on this. Until HE is willing to talk about them with someone in a professional setting, he may not see the light.

Good luck.
