A few years back my wife was in the hospital overnight (Saturday into Sunday) due to arterial fibrillation. She was admitted to stabilize and keep her under observation. Sunday AM I called to see how she was doing and asked if she knew when she was being discharged. She said basically anytime in the afternoon.
I asked when did she want me to come over and get her. She could not make up her mind. I finally said: "How about I wait until the Jets game is over then I'll come get you". She agreed. What a woman !!
Before I get flamed here, all through the conversation, I kept asking her to give me a time to come over and I would be there. This seemed the easiest compromise. (She was watching the game too.)
