hey emakim,

pre-cum is usually alway present with sex. it is a fluid secreated by two pea-sized glands at the base of your penis (between your anus and scrotum) when you are sexually aroused. many people produce it just from making our or watching porn but not ejaculating. the function of pre-ejaculatory fluid (pre-cum) is to neutralize the acidity or any urine left in your urethra which would be toxic to sperm cells and also to lubricate the tip of the penis to make penetration into the vagina easier. normally it does not contain sperm so the chances of pregnancy are low but there is still a chance since you had unprotected sex (can i ask why to had unprotected sex this time?) normally when sperm is present in pre-cum it is from a previous ejaculation. before having sex when was the last time you ejaculated? did you urinate afterwards before having sex? finally are you circumscised?

thanks. 8)

ok, this may be a bit of a long post but it should help clarify things.

when you ejaculate obviously fluid containing millions and millions of sperm cells is released. but since guys urethras are so long not all of the semen is released and squeezed out of the penis. when you urinate that is why guys normally shake them selves or "milk" themselves to get more urine out so it doesnt leak out later into your underwear. the same thing happens with semen there is always some left in after you ejaculate.

when you urinate afterwards the urin flushes around 99% of the semen out of your urethra and also helps kill any remaining sperm cells because urin is toxic to sperm. also semen gets on the head of the penis and shaft after ejaculating so they need to be washed off as well before having sex unprotected. the fact that you ARE circumcised helps because in uncircumcised guys semen can get trapped underneath the foreskin and be transfered to the female durring the next sexual encounter and could lead to pregnancy.

if you do not urinate and wash off your penis after ejaculation and before having sex the trusting motion squeezes and milks your penis pushing left over semen out of your penis and into the girls vagina. also this is how pre-cum can get contaminated with sperm cells from a previous ejaculation. as pre-cum is made and released it moves through the urethra cleaning out and picking up any left over sperm cells wich may be present.

this is why protection is so important.... can i ask why you didn't use a condom the second time?

as for the calender method, i'm not 100% sure how to do it accuratly but it invoulves the woman keeping a very strict detailed log of her monthly cycle and also taking body temperature reading and testing the viscosity of her cervical mucous.
there is info on-line for more detailed reading. basically once the woman is confident she knows when she is ovulating and fertile then that is when she and her partner abstain form vaginal sex. this method obviously has a chance for errors to occur so it is not the most reliable method but if practiced accurtatly it can be pretty successfull.

the fact that you had sex 3 days after your girlfriends period doesnt mean she is not fertile. every woman is different and so it their monthly cycle. normally after menstration it would be a fairly safe time for sex but some women ovulate afterwards so there is deffinatly still a chance. different women can ovulate at all different times throughout their cycle.

as for now there is nothing you can do except wait for her next period to come.... if it doesnt come then you can take a pregnancy test. but remember that if she is under any type of stress it can delay her period and make her late.

I hope this helps please let me know and if you have any more questions or concerns just ask 8)

hey emakim,

if you did not wipe or clean yourself off before having unprotected sex a second time then i would say that unfortunatly there is a significant chance o.O %-). why did you guys have unprotected sex? (not that it matters now)

you may be safe since she ended her period three days prior. did she stop bleeding three days earlier or start bleeding three days earlier? like i said earlier, every girl is different with her ovulation so there still is a chance but i guess perhaps a less of a chance since she just ended her period and so all the endometrial tissue (inner layer of the uterus) and theoretically the ovulated egg should have been passed out.

hey emakim,

as of right now i would say there is a fair chance that she could become pregnate. although i still think you'll be safe because of where she was on her period but that is by far a garentee. what you guys need to do now is wait until she is suppose to have her period (give or take a week or so. then take a pregnancy test but make sure you follow the directons carefully so it is the most accureate....
keep us posted if you have any questions about anything just ask 8)

well the thing is with women is that theses symptomes are highly variable. i would say about a month or so she should be having some symptoms. i would wait until about 3-4 weeks after that pre-cum incident to do a pregnancy test. like i mentioned earlier, follow the directions carefully so you minimize the risk of false results. i think it mentions somewhere in there that it is best if the test is taken right when the woman wakes up in the morning.

good luck and keep me posted 8)

Does Symptoms of being pregnant usually shows up after 3 weeks?....

Is there rily a high chance of her getting pregnant, well let say pre-cum did happen but what are the chances of the sperms surviving due to their few numbers.......

well once again it really depends most on where she was in her cycle. an hour is not long at all for a sperm cell to survive post-ejaculation. and seeing how one drop of semen usually contains thousands of sperm cells IF she was ovulating around the time of intercourse then there is a fair chance i would say for pregnancy. as for now i wouldn't worry too much over what is hopefully nothing. you need to wait and do a pregnancy test. and go from there 8)

well it really depends on where she was at in her cycle. an hour is not long at all for a sperm cell to survive after ejaculation and one drop usually contains thousans. so there still could be a fair chance but like i said because she just finished her period the chances i would say are less. but get a pregnancy test just to be sure.
