When I started researching one theme that kept coming up was the excess amount of estrogen we consume daily because it is in everything! All plastics create a sythetic like estrogen in your body that means bottled water and just about every thing we drink, and all our convenience foods with some kind of soy protein has it that means cereal, wheat thins, chips, all the noodles basically anything that comes in a box.
The first thing I started doing was add UNSULFURED Black Strap Molasses to my diet
Go to Whole Foods or a health food store and buy Black Strap Molasses (must be blackstrap) organic if possible. Then take 2 tablespoons everyday. morning or evening or both. However you can, I put mine in my yogurt in the morning, in my coffe or in hot chocolate . It is completely natural and loaded with vitamins and minerals. I've ready many articles on women curing themselves of uterine fibroids with this product alone. Most of the peole I've seen on this post are young and the doctors don't look for fibroids when your young. The first month my body wasn't showing any sign of spotting or cramping.
I am a vegetarian, which I don't think is necessary, just eat meat that comes from a decent farm with cows that get sunshine and are fed green grass. I have stopped eating anything that comes from a box, only eat eggs from free range, organic hens, raw milk, if you can find it. If you can't find it STOP drinking milk period and try carrot juice instead for your calcium or the blackstrap will do the trick, you can get it at any juice place, make sure it is fresh squeezed. Yogurt is fine but try to get the ones without sugar or high frutctose corn syrup. Keifer is the best or a greek yogurt would be good. I don't know if this will help but it sure couldn't hurt.
I believe my problem was something like a fibroid or cyst from what I've read of other peoples symptoms. I've been taking the blackstrap for about 3 months and have had no spotting at all. Just a nice short period for about 4 days with little cramping and no blood clots. I plan on continuing to take it for the rest of my life, because apparently my body was missing something this gives. Good luck and I hope and pray this works for you too.

Hi there thanks for the post! I'm reading it over 4 years later, but I'll be trying your recommendation. I am a vegetarian as well, and have been experiencing bleeding during ovulation. I do have a uterine fibroid, which I know can be the cause of it, but it's getting worse, and as you said, it's starting to feel like I have 2 periods a month! Not fun at all, plus I feel some mild cramping along with my ovulation bleeding, so I'm willing to try almost anything to get back to "normal". I already know that blackstrap molasses has great nutritional value, so I'm not surprised to hear it could help regulate hormones. I'm curious, after all this time, are you still taking it? Has your spotting returned?
