Some background info:I have had my right ovary and uterus removed since 2003. With that in mind, her is my story.
In October of 2009 I underwent surgery to have my left ovary removed. I had some minor trouble post surgery, but overall it went well. Or so I thought. Since the surgery I continued to have pain in my lower left side. In March of 2011 the pain was getting worse, but I thought it was my bowels so I seen a Gastroenterologist. She ordered a CT of my abdomen that reveiled a "mass" in the lower left side. I then had a Ultrasound that found I had 2 complex cystic masses. They are calling them "paraovarian cysts". Everything I've read says that you have to have the ovary to have that type of cyst. I've seen a different Gyno who tested my hormone levels and found that my "non-existant" ovary not only is producing the hormone, but is ovulating as well!!!
I'm really at a loss as what to do. I have had people tell me I should get an attorney and file a medical malpractice suite, but I'm not really sure what I should do. I have plenty of documentation, from all the parties involved...the surgeons, hospital, pathologists, lab results, you name it I have it. Any thoughts on this? Any help would be appreciated!

I'd file a law suite! I can't be much help on this topic as I don't know anything about surgery on ovaries, but that is definitely malpractice. They're telling you they completed this surgery without having actually done it. They can't have possibly thought they removed your ovary if they hadn't?
