I live in Nairobi, Kenya. 1.5 years ago I had a bone lengthening procedure after loosing 20cm off my left tibia. I have been on crutches for almost 3.5 years following bad treatment prior to bone lengthening. I recently started to go to the gym but I still have experience pain in my knee and discomfort on the tibial bone... looking at latest x-ray its quite disappointing to say there doesn't seem to be much improvement especially in the region of the bone grafts (about 10cm in mid-section). Are there any specific exercises/supplements that can help my bone grow/heal faster. I am really tired of being on crutches and mobility is a real issue for me. I have serious problems with muscle atrophy I try to do stationary bike 3 times a week but with much discomfort any help please? Thank you.
